rear shock linkage help

When installing my Axis rear LT shock, along with the houser linkage arm I noticed that the swing arm was sitting level, which its not suspposed to do. What way is there to make that not happen? Someone please help me, I am so close to finishing.

Black wheels, plastics, some shiny chrome pieces. Left over dirt from last year, handle bars.
