I am looking at a 2000 Blaster, what do you guys and girls have to say about this? Is it a good 4 wheeler? Are they pretty quick? and can they take some trail riding like Jasper?

Blasters are a great trail quad. For a 2 stroke they are peppy and in stock form you won't foul plugs hardly at all.
How much are they asking for it and what kind of shape is it in?

i guess the answer would be whos it for. if your a big kid the blaster may seem small for ya, but if your not "big bone" and relatively small then go for it.

remember its a 2 stroke so your not going to have alot of torque in the mud.

couple hundred.  Grin
They'll run in the low 60's I'd say. If it's in good shape then $1400 is a good price.

You will get bored with it very fast. I would get at least a 400EX or a Z400. You will have fun with it, don't get me wrong. I started out on a Blaster. It was a great quad, but it lacked the power. I am 5' 3" and it was perfect size for me. You being so tall will be very cramped on it. I woild go to the local dealer and sit on one. Also move around on it like you are riding it. Hang off the side, see how the transition is from sitting to standing. Being 6ft it will be a long way on that little quad. Hope this helps.

my son and i both have warrior. they are 350cc's. i think they are very reliable and universal. whether your mudding, trail riding, etc. they are very good. they arent great track bikes but we've taken ours out  and they've been ok. for trails or mudding i'll take on any sport bike.

you can prob. find one for 1,500 to 2,000.00

hers the link to see them in action:

A Warrior is a great ATV, but the position you sit in isn't going to cut it for a guy your size. You sit really low on the seat and the pegs aren't spaced down far enough. Your knees will be in your chin. I had a friend that had a Warrior for about 2 years, he is big like you. One day we went camping and my friends wife said him on it and said to him you need a bigger quad, you look funny on that thing. Also the transtion from sitting to standing is a mile on that quad even if your short. Do yourself a favor spend a little more money on a larger quad you will be a lot happier in the long run.

i agree but if you budget is limited, a warrior is your best bet.
