As you can see, this forum is seriously messed up. Hostcentric.com, who is hosting this site, has decided to upgrade this server without notice. I can't access the backend to fix the layout. I was on the phone with them for 1 hour today and didn't get very far. I waited 1/2 hour on-hold just to talk to someone. I can't stand their poor service any longer. I've already started changing the site to a new server. I'll be resconstucting the forum ASAP. When I start that, this one will have to be closed to posting. Sorry for the inconvenience. I'll get this site back to normal as fast as humanly possible. Thanks.

How long is it going to be down?  Just so I don't think I'm going nuts.  Thanks for spending the time to get it running again.  I know how frustrating dealing w/ these things is.  I love the site and the members here.  Thanks for keeping it going.

The site is restored. All I have done is fix what the web host has damaged. I haven't changed hosts yet. I'm going to leave it as-is for a little while since it's working and plan a server change at the end of the month. I'm paid through by then anyway. Thanks for all your support! (and patience).

It seems that when the host moved the site WITHOUT NOTICE, they used a backup from 07/30 concerning the attachments. So, any photos posted on this site after that date are lost. I have contacted their technical support deptartment to try and retreive the new files.

While the web host told me the 08/01 - 08/10 photos were gone and I was out of luck, I came across them by accident  by finding an old server address and logging into it.

So, PHOTOS RESTORED!!

The forum is now on the new server. I'm uploading the file attachments now. As far as I know, everything is ok.

ADVERTISERS: The only thing I have left to do is get the banner server backup. I'll be working on that shortly.

Let me know of any problems.

The '209.59.129.221' in the forum URL will change in 24 hours.

Thanks.

I couldn't logout and couldn't delete my cookie for the site. I changed the cookie name that saves the login info. This might clear up the problem. If not, I'll try something else.

I'm using Firefox with no problem. But I don't use AOL. Try deleting the cookie for this site under Tool, Options, Privacy, Cookies. Look for anything named "smf" or from atvflorida.com or from '209.59.129.221'.

I added more smilies. That was a little tedious. Each one had to be added manually. I've got more I'll install later.  Clapper

I added a Chat room to the site. Just click the Chat button in the tool bar. It looks basic but it appears to work. The only down side is this one doesn't display who's logged on in the forum.
