For those that do not know!!

We just purchased an electronic scoring system for our Hare Scramble Races. The transponders are only $5 and they are stickers that stick to your helmet visor. They are RFID and work just like sunpass. The system allows us to do so much but the biggest thing is it will allow us to give accurate results of the race IMMEDIATELY after the last racer goes through the system. The other highlight is that it allows the spectators to view the LIVE race on their droid or I Phone while within 200' of our network. You only need Wifi to attach to our network. You do not need phone signal or internet signal, just the ability to get Wifi to log onto our network that we broadcast.

Since we will now be able to assign points to the racers and track them for a series we have decided to start a mini series beginning next year. We will have our first race in February and they will run through September. I will post our entire schedule from this month through next August on Facebook and here. We will have CASH awards for the individual races as well as the overall series.

Starting this month (August 20th) we will split the Vet class. We are thinking of having Vet (ages 35-49) and Master Vet (ages 50+). This is not set in stone and we are open to your comments.

For registration for this race and on but FOR SURE this race we will need the following information. If you fail to pre-register there is a possibility that we will not have enough transponders for you when you arrive race day. I also need to type ALL OF YOUR and everyone's information into the data base or it will be a HUGE CLUSTER come race day. Please do this for us.

BTW- I already have the scoring software and will have the entire system on Tuesday. I would like to start entering information into it as soon as I receive it. As always there is not a cost to pre-register for our event. Also note that you will have to pay $5 for your transponder when you pick it up. If for some reason your transponder quits working from this August until next September I will give you another one free of charge. I was assured that these transponders will last 5 years or even longer....
