gear position blinks at me on my 07 honda foreman

new to the site and just wanted to say BIG FAN!!!!  i have a question that maybe yall can help me out with.
when i rev up my foreman the gear position indicator starts to blink at me. If i turn the bike off and start it back up the blinking is gone. any advice?

My guess wold be loose wiring, start jiggling it from the light back and see what ya can find.

Cover the light with a piece of black tape.
