Electric dirtbike

Ok., was flipping channels last night and came across "the green channel" or "planet green" or something like that.  They had a guy that designed an electric dirtbike and had a competition againsts a yz250f.  While the competition was bogus, the bike was pretty cool.  It weighed 140lbs and looked like it was doing pretty good.  Kinda cool, imagine being able to build a track in your backyard and the neighbors can't say a dang thing because you're not making any noise.  It will be interesting as the technology develops

on thumpertalk.com there was a thread about a CRF250 that a guy put a electric motor in and it was almost as fast. it wasnt quite as fast as the gas one and it only held the charge for 12 mins. it looked gay but it was functional. i wont buy one though. theres something bout the sound from these 4 stroke motors.

I like it. I can see an electric quad coming out in the near future.
