Just want to get a couple more horses out of my kodiak.... what are some things i could do and where could i buy from. i have a 05 yamaha kodiak 450 with 26 inch mud bugs on it if that helps at all.. thanks

If you want more power you should start with a pipe and a jet kit. Also replace the stock air filter. If you still want more power mabye a big bore kit if you want ALLOT more power. Grin  Mabye you could change the compression ratio. If you ride allot of mud then a clutch kit might do good but it wont give you anymore power. It'll just get the bike moving quicker. Thats about all I can tell you. Those improvements or trade it in on a grizz.

I'd say a K&n filter,pipe,and a clutch kit would be the cheapest way to go if you dont wanna tear into the motor

The clutch kit will help with the bigger tires

Get the HMF Utility exhaust for the most power, but it is the loudest too. Get the QS1 if you are concerned about noise. Then get the appropriate jet and Might as well get a high-flow filter (K&N or Uni) too.

Otherwise Supertrapp is next in line.
