Yamaha Warrior 350 model year id help

Hello,
I have a yamaha warrior 350 that i need to know the model year for. It is about 1995-1999 i think. All grey plastics if that helps. I can seem to locate the vin number, any suggestions on where to look?

vin is on frame behind front bumper i think. and the 10th in from left to right will be a letter that will id the year
