Bear Claws, Pathfinders--CanI run the tread reversed for the sand?

I just purchased 2 sets of rear tires.  One set for my 2006 Z400(Bear Claws), and another set for my sons LT80 (Pathfinders).  Several posts have commented on what a great tire the Maxxis Sure Trak is(a copy of your BC), because it can be reversed for better sand performance.  I was wondering if there would be any problems turning these tires around for better sand performance?
