i think i liked the full fenders better but curiousity got the better of me

I like the cut better (aside from the fact it give it that 250r look[smiley=Dead.gif]). But I still like the cut better then the full plastics ;) Good job

well in my opinion, when the sport bikes got the fenders it stil dont keep the mud from flyin up at u, i think it looks good

Good choice! I really don't notice that much difference from the full fenders unless it is really wet in a turn then it tends to spray a little  [smiley=Dead.gif]

I have full fenders and still get whatever I ride through on me....therefore go with what looks better in your opinion!!!

my son used to have a 400ex and he cut his fenders. it does look cooler but alot more dirt gets on your legs

looks preety good, my friend that lives in Ocala has a red 400ex that looks like yours but has few more bits on it like a whole gibson/elka front end and a roll design stem, only Big Gun ex. and K&N for performance. but ur bike looks Damn preety good. he plans on getting black fenders and a QuadTech carbon fiber hood and seat cover, 250R style
